Many years ago, at a meeting soon after the Trails Club got started, I said, "Hey! We should have a website." Silly me! Anyway, that's how I became the Club's webmaster. Armed with a copy of HTML for Dummies, I proceeded to create the first version of the Club's webpage.
It worked well for two decades, but it was showing its age. It didn't play nice with smartphones, and the back-end process was... let's say "old school." Everything lived on my personal computer and required manual FTP uploads. It was time for a change.
Welcome to the new Trails Club website!
We’ve moved to Google Sites, which means the site finally looks great on phones and tablets. It's also easier to maintain and more secure in the cloud. In addition, we've streamlined the content and added new features. We hope you'll like the changes.

One final note: A huge thank you to Jim Cozzens and HCAM for hosting the old website on HCAM's server for many years. Jim also obtained the website URL for us, and covered the annual registration fee for all those years.
