Center Trail Work Day10/01/2011
The crew was small, but the results were big! The main focus of the work was the eroded area at the ravine. Thanks to generous donations of time, equipment and material from Chip Baker (Charles Baker Landscaping) and Tom McIntyre (McIntyre Loam), it's now a level, passable path once again. We also installed a couple of waterbars to help prevent future erosion, repaired several breaks in the drainage ditches so the water stays in the ditch and off the trail, cleaned out the ditches themselves, and removed a couple of trees that had fallen across the trail.
